	UPDATED AGAIN!!! The Green Bay Packers have stated that Brett would be competing for the quarterback position, after meeting with the Packers staff until after 12:20 early Tuesday morning.

     So I guess Brett Favre finally weaseled his way back into the Packers locker room.

Now what?

He has to compete for his starting slot again?

How can the Packers possibly want him to sit on the bench after what was arguably his best year, taking the Packers to the NFC championship game, where the unstoppable NY Giants turned out to be the only thing that kept them from the Super Bowl?

Why do we care so much?
